William Heinemann, London. 1947. Reprint. Hardback. DW. Colour frontis with colour and b/w illustrations. Title page in red and black. Boards are a little soiled and partially sunned. Ownership inscription and booksellers small label to front pastedown, endpapers and pages lightly browned o/w contents are clean and sound. The wrapper is price clipped, it lacks portions from head and tail of spine and rear panel, and has several closed tears at extremities as well as being partially sunned. 81420

The wrapper is a little chipped and worn, with 1 inch closed tear near head of spine at joint with rear cover and at top corner of rear cover, and lacks a small portion (4.7cm x 2.5cm) from bottom corner of front cover, slightly affecting text. 76587
