Small 8vo. in slipcase. Blue morroco., gilt. A.e.g. Silk ribbon. Marbled eps. Spine and slip case edges sunned. Internally a very clean copy. Ralph Hodgson (1871 – 1962), Order of the Rising Sun (Japanese), English poet, very popular in his lifetime on the strength of a small number of anthology pieces, such as The Bull. He was one of the more 'pastoral' of the Georgian poets. In 1954, he was awarded the King's Gold Medal for Poetry. 33844
