Sumptiously bound in half deep red morocco gilt, with appropriate hunting decorations in gilt to spine, raised bands, marbled bds and e/ps. Top edge gilt. London. 1931  This edition, printed on English hand-made paper is limited to three hundred and twenty numbered copies, each copy being SIGNED by the author and by the artist and of this number three hundred copies are for sale. This is number 236. First edition, thus. DW. As stated SIGNED by both Sassoon and Freedman. 15 full page coloured plates with guards, numerous decorations and illustrations in b/w. Coloured illustrations to endpapers (with different set of illustrations to rear and front endpapers). Top edge gilt. Illustrated boards. Illustrated wrapper. The illustration of the boards is repeated on the slip-case, that of the wrapper is different, all are coloured. The book is near fine in near fine wrapper.
