First edition. Large 4to. Autographed Letter, SIGNED on Brangwyn's blue headed paper, dated March 7 1905, loosely inserted. The letter regards a small picture he is sending for an exhibition, The title of the picture is "a Turkish Cemetry." priced at £100. He promises next year to make the effort to send a more important work. Coloured frontis + 48 coloured and sepia plates, 6 being double page showing his artwork: prints, drawings, preparative works and lesser known works. Also numerous b&w woodcut/linocut prints in text. Extensive biographical essays and a large index Original light tan buckram, sl. worn and soiled, cloth to spine is torn and creased, with a small split to the cloth at head of spine. Bookplate to front pastedown, front free endpaper creased vertically. Contents clean and sound. Loosely inserted is a stapled pamphlet titled "The Brangwyn Panels" in limp yellow bds with a sketch of Brangwyn to the upper panel. Portrait plate of the Earl of Iveagh o/w no illustrations to booklet. 28167
