This copy that has been handsomely bound in contemporary full brown morocco gilt, was a presentation copy from the author's son, the Rev. William Fairbairn La Trobe-Bateman to the Stockport College of Technology and this is recorded in a bookplate to the front pastedown. Marbled e/ps. Four library stamps to e/ps and two to reverse of plates o/w a remarkably clean and sound copy. 39945
