The whole has been pleasingly bound in full turquoise crushed morocco gilt. Spine very faded, margins of boards less so. Slight marking to head of spine. Top edge gilt. Lovely gift inscription from a mother to her little girl dated 1931, "To my Little Darling sports-girlie, Peggy, for winning her races at School. June 1931. With much love from her Mummy." A lovely copy with all the 24 coloured plates as called for. 78488
