In publisher's deluxe limp blue leather binding with gilt decorations to spine and the gilt JMB device to front cover. Top edge gilt. Silk ribbon bookmark. Previous owner's small neat bookplate to first blank page after front endpapers. Slight shelf-wear to head and tail of spine and top edge of front cover otherwise a clean copy of a scarce item. 78806

Boards are partially sunned, a little soiled and bumped and lacks a small portion (1cm x ½cm) from head of spine. Endpapers are slightly browned and gift inscription to free endpaper dated 1930. The wrapper is a little chipped and worn, with 1 inch closed tear near head of spine at joint with rear cover and at top corner of rear cover, and lacks a small portion (4.7cm x 2.5cm) from bottom corner of front cover, slightly affecting text. 76587
