Macmillan. London 1975. First edition, first issue. DW. The page block is badly tanned as is usually the case with this title. A small rectangular piece has been neatly cut from the top right corner of the front free endpaper and apart from these faults this is a very sound copy of the first Morse title and a rare book in a very good wrapper that shows the original price of £2.50 (NOT price-clipped) and has very slight shelfwear and nicks along top and lower edges, with a small close tear to the bottom of the rear panel and is slightly sunned to spine. 77222

The spine is slightly faded and sunned to head and tail with slight shelfwear along lower edge, the inner hinge is very slightly visible at title page but binding is sound and apart from these faults this is a very nice copy of the second Morse title and a rare book in a very good wrapper that shows the original price of £2.95 (NOT price-clipped) and has a few close tears and creases to edges and is chipped at top corners. 77223
