First edition. DW. Large thick 4to. SIGNED PRESENTATION copy from Hitchens, "To two invaluable friends R + F, from M C H + Ivon, Selsey 1977" in the artisit's own hand to front blank e/p. Large b/w photographic portrait frontis, 120 tipped-in coloured plates, other repoductions of his work in b/w + photographs of the artist at work etc. First line of inscription from artist faded, inscription page sl. foxed and spotted. Cream bds. sl. soiled o/w near fine in wrapper that is sl. creased, torn and chipped along upper edge with one close two cm tear at top of front panel and a larger triangle close tear to bottom of rear panel with creases within torn area. A lovely bright copy. 39282
