Handsomely produced book on fine paper, decorated with head and tail pieces. Dec. initial letters and facsimile of envelope and letter. Orig. light maroon cloth gilt. E/ps browned. Ownership plates to front and rear pastedowns. The pages are unusually fresh and clean. The inner hinge is sl. visible at centre of book, but otherwise the whole is sound. A splendid copy of a scarce presentation item. Bent spent 42 years in the Lancashire Constabulary. 5521
